London Pavilion The Beatles starred in the musical film Help! which had its royal world premiere at the London Pavilion in June. The Beatles and Brian Epstein were in attendance, followed by a party at the Dorchester Hotel.
The Exciting Adventure of Paul on The Floor They are chased around London by members of a cult in the film, which also sees them miming to the George Harrison song I Need You, on Salisbury Plain. After "The Exciting Adventure of Paul on The Floor", the group escape to the Alps. The film director, Richard Lester, handed out skis and poles to the novice skiers. George Harrison wore a top hat, together with black ski pants and a cape. The Beatles frequently fall over, and while they learn how to ski, the song Ticket to Ride plays in the background.
Doctor Zhivago Doctor Zhivago and Lara cross the frozen landscape on a sleigh in the movie. Lara's Theme" appears in various sections throughout the film. The film was released theatrically in December.
